Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse Education Specialist for our Rehabilitation and Post-Acute Care Services, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Registered Nurse Education Specialist you will:
• Serve all entities within post-acute services and collaborate with other education specialists to support the educational plan for the department.
• Facilitate the professional development and lifelong learning activities of clinical staff to enhance their professional competence and role performance.
• Manage overall professional development programs, providing relevant education to clinical staff, maintaining and enhancing clinical competence, fostering a positive outlook on lifelong learning, and directing the development of educational activities and planning programs that increase breadth and depth of clinical the staff's knowledge.
• The Education Specialist demonstrates professionalism and is an integral part of the patient care services leadership team, representing their department at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications include:
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years in clinical specialty
• 2 years of education experience preferred
• 1 year in a leadership role preferred (includes supervisor, preceptor)
• RN License required
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken required, curriculum development

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
