Responsibilities

As a full performance level Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-14, you will:
  • Develop and establish criteria for methods to improve the effectiveness of workforce programs and/or develops new approaches.
  • Research information on the organization's scientific programs and administrative activities.
  • Outline and prepare technical and administrative reports.
  • Develop and implement a plan for staffing activities, including tracking of all staffing actions, and providing advice to SC research programs on all aspects of a staffing plan.

Occasional travel - 5% of occasional travel maybe required.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

For the GS-13 grade level, a qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
  • Developing new techniques to manage assignments that are significant and have high impact to the organization.
  • Developing long range projections for a substantive program with complex missions or functions.
  • Analyzing, providing advice, and developing appropriate recommendations on issues or problems.
  • Communicating complex subjects, both orally and in writing.

  • Developing reports and briefings that contain findings and recommendations of major significance.

  • Creating solutions to improve workforce programs and improvement the effectiveness of services provided.

    You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
