ABW Appliances is currently seeking a professional, highly self-motivated Purchasing/Inventory Control Coordinator . We are looking for individuals who are self-starters and solid work ethic. Position Summary: As the Purchasing/Inventory Control Coordinator , you will manage the purchase order process for product required by sales and delivery/install teams to ensure continuity of business operations. This role will work closely with established vendors to ensure deliveries to ABW's warehouse are done in a timely manner and that the product delivered matches the corresponding purchase order. As the Purchasing/Inventory Control Coordinator, you will also be accountable to adhering to strict purchase order and receiving procedures. Essential Functions: Assist with monitoring shipments to ensure that product arrives on time. Follow-up with vendors on undelivered, incorrect, or damaged product. Respond to general inquiries and inform sales and delivery/install department of delays and/or problems. Update purchase orders with delivery dates. Print product labels for the warehouse. Comply with all ABW policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. . Requirements: Associate degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management preferred. 2-3 years of experience in the fields of purchasing, logistics, or inventory control. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
