This individual must have a great methodical mind and the knack to "dig" for answers and solutions while being honest about the restrictions. Visual analytics are an important part and a background in Power BI and/or Tableau is a required.As a Business Analyst you will work directly with the Settlement team to provide statistic and reporting information to support the overall improvement of business functions. We will apply strong business knowledge and analytics to support our business units by creating sustainable reporting and dashboarding solutions that our partners will use to service the company and our clients!In this role, you can look forward to:Help transform the organization and help automate reporting processes.Provide Executive and Senior Leaders timely and accurate reporting.Create and maintain Power BI reports, models, dataset, dataflow, etc.Create and maintain KPI Metric reports, dashboards and Performance Analytics (PA) reporting.You will be tasked with:Administration of the reporting environment such as user administration, report job scheduling, etc.Provide Associates & Leaders with system usage through support and trainingAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify valuable data sources and automate collection processesYour preferred skills: Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (MS Access, SQL etc.), programming (Python, JSON, JavaScript or ETL frameworks).Basic Qualifications for consideration:2+ years' experience in reporting and analytics.Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent.Demonstrated proficiency BI visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau etc.)Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office toolsFocus on Continuous Improvement and learning requiredAbility to work efficiently and productively with some directionHands on experience with SQL (familiarity with Oracle a plus)An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitudeExcellent communication and presentation skillsOther Skills / Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Statistics, Business Analysis, Database Engineering, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data, as well as lead discussions on business and technical topics.Proficient SQL whether through the creation of queries, extract, reports, or scripting for Oracle databases.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft DAX and M.Solid understanding of banking, including lending, consumer demographics, and PII process, policies, procedures, reporting, and regulations.Learn more about Fiserv:To support the total well-being of our associates, Fiserv takes a broad approach to our benefits.
