CIVIL ENGINEER

ENGINEER Civil Engineer. Falls Church, VA. Develop detailed civil engineering drawings for telecommunication projects using CAD equipment. Develop details for site layout, grading, storm drainage, roads, utility infrastructure and erosion and sediment control design. Analyze and develop design options and Best Management Practices (BMP), and prepare construction documents and design reports for P.E. review. Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other topographical data. Design, lay out, or detail civil components and resolve issues. Review and analyze specifications, drawings, and related data to assess factors affecting component design. Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or to reduce production issues. Requires Master's in Civil Engineering and at least two years of experience in civil telecommunication design projects using AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, analyzing civil component design specifications and drawings, and revising civil designs to correct operating and production deficiencies.
