Overview Position: HR Generalist (Analytics, Systems, and Operations) Location: Washington, DC Duration: 12 months+ Description: Incumbent will work with and within HR functions to deliver HR programs and services to Board employees, candidates, students, and/or retirees. Responsibilities include performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs; handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff; maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; other duties as assigned Position/Skill requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, minimum three (3) years' experience in a minimum of three major HR specialty areas, such as: compensation, benefits, employee wellness programs and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; clerical, compliance, customer service, organizational, planning, scheduling, records management, productivity, recognition, and morale; recruiting, workforce planning, HR analytics, coaching and mentoring programs; and training and development - Excellent telephone and customer service skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. - Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. - Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. - Intermediate-level Microsoft Office Suite experience.
