NCI is a mid-tier systems integrator headquartered in Reston, VA, and operates at locations across the globe.NCI has been designated a 2020 Military Friendly Employer by MilitaryFriendly.com Responsibilities NCI: As a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Expert, you will work with a team of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and administering security systems for the safety of the United States. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. Highlights of Responsibilities: * Provides a broad range of support to a government agency's Technical Security Program * Serve as a TSCM subject matter expert * Prepare for TSCM missions by performing surveys, reviewing prior documentation, selecting and ensuring that mission equipment is operational, and developing mission plans and schedules * Provide verbal reports and written documentation upon completion of TSCM missions * Directly oversees the research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or the development of Technical Security equipment and systems * Independently and as part of a team, review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex technical security problems * Resolve or recommend solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations * May oversee the duties of other contract personnel, and coordinates the activities of direct hire perso nnel Qualifications Requirements: * Clearance Required: US Department of Defense (DOD) issued TS/SCI clearance and able to obtain a US Department of Energy (DOE) Q Clearance, or an active DOE Q Clearance * Bachelor's Degree in engineering or closely related field from an accredited university and at least three years of professional Technical Security (TSCM) experience; or a minimum of seven years of experience in conducting US Government level technical surveillance countermeasures missions in lieu of degree * Government certification from the ITC in TSCM Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions: * Sitting for long periods * Standing for long periods * Ambulate throughout an office * Ambulate between several buildings * Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required * Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds * Travel by land or air transportation 5 % It is the policy of NCI to provide equal opportunity in recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting individuals in all job categories without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected class or category as may be defined by federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
