Azure Cloud Administrator This position has both technical and operational components. You will assist with the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of the Azure-hosted environment, administering servers and related applications to provide a responsive, highly available and consistent computing environment. In addition, you will build on and maintain an already-robust resource library. Primary Responsibilities ndash Environment Management Collaborates with other IT teams to improve systems support, monitoring, and administration. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes. Provision resources as needed, manage new builds and decoms. Continued improvement of automated deployments in Pre-Production and Production environments Ability to automate infrastructure using scripting technologies (examples Azure Resource Manager Templates in PowerShell or Azure CLI) or other equivalent scripting or tools. Implement and utilize automation to perform system administration including changes, deletes, disk space management, application installation, and backups for cloud systems. Demonstrate Technical Cloud Architectural knowledge Ensure data retention, availability, scalability, backup, and recovery of the deployed network infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities ndash Documentation Researching and updating applicable SLAs Having the most current architecture, compliance, and security documentation available from Azure to provide to customers upon request. Completing security assessments and questionnaires as required by customers. These may be in the form of Maintaining internal documentation regarding our hosted environment security and access control, data protection, retention, disposal, and backup policies, and our hosted customer Disaster RecoveryBusiness Continuity documentation. Qualifications BS degree or equivalent experience in hosting environment management 2+ years of Azure or related experience using cloud services. Proven ability and experience with systems analysis of Cloud or Hybrid (Cloud and On-Premises) environments
