Major Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare timely, complete, and accurate monthly financial reports including calculation and posting of associated accruals, interest amortization, prepaid expenses, bank and other reconciliations, and other ad hoc analysis.Work with development team to compile monthly construction draws and ensure timely submission to lenders and investors.Review monthly reporting packages from third-party property managers; prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements for investment entities.Responsible for cash management and bi-weekly check run process while ensuring proper invoice coding.Prepare capital call, cash requests, and distribution calculations as needed.Analyze cash receipts and ensure proper recordation in general ledger.Assist with preparation of year end budgets and monthly / quarterly reforecasts for assigned projects.Review applicable debt agreements and calculate covenant testing to ensure debt compliance.Calculate tax and GAAP depreciation using BNA system.Assist in the management of the annual audit and tax compliance programs for assigned projects, including preparing interim and year-end audit and tax workpapers, and responsibility for completion of associated financial statements and footnotes.Assist with property acquisitions and dispositions and associated proration calculations.Ad hoc reporting for investors.Other related duties as assigned.The above listing represents the general duties considered essential functions of the job and is not to be considered a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.Qualifications:An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance required4+ years relevant accounting experience, real estate preferred, projects in development highly preferredCPA preferredExperience and understanding of automated accounting systems and AP data imaging, MRI and AvidXchange a plusProficiency in MS Excel and Word requiredAbility to work independently with limited supervisionStrong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritizeSelf-motivated, team-oriented, dependable, responsible, flexible, and professionalPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
