Overview: Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Financial Systems to join our rapidly growing team. This position is exempt. Clearance: None required. Must be a US Citizen. Responsibilities:Responsible for all accounting functions including supervision of the Accounting staff.Responsible for monthly consolidated financial statements.Responsible for the successful integration of Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense across the company and insourcing accounting function.Manage, oversee and mentor the existing staff for all functional accounting operations.Act as a trusted business partner to the organization by providing financial expertise to the CFO.Improve the accuracy and efficiency of business processes and internal controls across the organization.Improve the time to close the accounting records monthly.Play a key role in the organization, including improving management reporting, mentoring team members, and assisting with business improvement.Support internal clients including business operations, business development and back-office support groups.Interface as the primary point of contact for external auditors and the annual financial audit.Interface with the DCAA and other regulatory bodies.Work closely with FP&A to build monthly, quarterly, annual budgets including revenue forecasts in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance or AccountingA CPA designation15 or more years of job-related experience with at least 5 years working in the Government contracting industry.Proven experience as a trusted advisor and partner to peers, senior leadership, and the executive team.Detail oriented with a high level of analytical ability and accuracy.Exceptional Microsoft Office skillsStrong working knowledge of US GAAP and FAR regulationsProficiency with Deltek CostPoint and Time & Expense
