ResponsibilitiesThe individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for coordinating secure Internet capabilities for mission. The specific role for this position will be to manage various aspects of Sponsor's internet solution processes to include infrastructure, operation and maintenance, and consumer roles. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Support the Sponsor in defining internet system architectures, developing roadmaps, and identifying planned developments in information technology areas Generate quantifiable requirements based on stakeholder description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Participate in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Implement of a series of proofs-of-concept/ pilots to diversify connectivity of internet solutions. Look at gaps across organizations and systems to find efficiencies and create more robust systems Identify way forward - what does the future of internet use look like at the Sponsor's organization Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and/or software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Develop future technology roadmaps that describe the plans to move from "as-is' to the "to- be". Provide internet knowledge and consultation to Sponsor components, and assist in technical reviews and designs, assessment of technical solutions to business needs, and development of technical concepts of system operations for Sponsor components' requirements, system designs, and system architectures QualificationsMust be knowledgeable in internet systems, identifying and gathering requirements, and supporting prototyping Ability to maintain enterprise-level and strategic perspective while ensuring execution of the end-to-end initiatives Demonstrated experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information, as well as clearly presenting this information to stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build networks and communicate effectively across oranizational boundaries. Knowledge and working experience with program planning and execution processes. Working knowledge of digital and cyber identity environments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, IT, or computer science Minimum of 10 years' experience or relevant experience, plus 3 years of supporting the SponsorDesired: Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects Experience working within a matrixed organization and the ability to find common ground to enable successful outcomes for multi-organization projects.
