Software Developer role to support US ARMY Autonomous Ground Resupply (AGR) and Remotely Operated Ground Utility for Expeditionary (ROGUE)-Fires program responsible for developing user interfaces & control stations for the robotic combat vehicle platform and crew stations including: User Interface Software development (C++) for robotic platforms - Front-end UI and back-end interface development to control, command, and execute behaviors on the robotic platform.

Networking Experience with JAUS interface, UDP/TCP protocols, and RTSP video streams.

Software development creating/utilizing interfaces with different sensors and hardware components on a vehicle.
Network management, analyze network traffic over a MANET radio network.
This position will require an efficient programmer that can work within a continuous agile development cycle and capability milestone deadlines. This individual will need to have the ability to effectively problem solve and troubleshoot software and network communications issues out in the field.

Additional this individual become an information broker between any non-technical Government employees and highly technical engineers and software developers.

Essential Job Functions:

Object-oriented software development using C++, debugging tools, and Qt Creator.

Work in an agile work environment using JIRA and Git.

Responsible for the development, testing and verification of software releases.

Provide continuous customer support for the software and network communications during onsite test events.

Communicate effectively with other contractor company developers while integrating software releases and new development behaviors.

Also, able to communicate to the customer on a non-technical and technical level to provide updates.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

C++, Object Oriented Software Development.

Proficient in the software development process utilizing tools *such as* JIRA, Confluence, etc to communicate, trace, track, and develop software releases though multiple builds of the software development process.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desired Skills:

Qt Creator.

Multi-threaded application development.

JAVA.

Scrum software development.
