Summary

This position is location in the Division of Information Security. The purpose of this position is serve as an Information Technology Audit Response Analyst in planning, coordinating, and managing IT Cybersecurity projects to ensure the integrity of IHS information systems and resources. This position reports to the Supervisory IT Specialist.

Responsibilities

    Risk Management: Develop and document procedures, detailed tracking documents, awareness programs, and supporting templates to aid key stakeholders in responding to audit requests, and identifying and correcting weaknesses; Identify, monitor, analyze data, and report on the compliance of the IT Cybersecurity program as part of the Audit Response and Plan on Action and Milestones (POA&M) programs; Work with Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) and other key stakeholders in tracking the remediation of security system and IT general control weaknesses. Information Assurance: Prepare reports in support of IT audits, assessments, compliance reporting, and other related activities as directed; Provide internal reporting to management on governance activities, such as periodic reports capturing the status of IHS systems' and weakness compliance status; Coordinate data calls, analyzes documentation, and prepares responses for management's review and submittal; Work closely with internal and external parties to ensure the accuracy and consistency of information throughout the audit lifecycle and data call process; Develop and provide oversight reporting on the status of IT Cybersecurity Program; Participate in IT business process engineering to improve organizational cybersecurity operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: collecting, analyzing and preparing management reports, Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) Quarterly Reports, A-123 Controls Deficiency Logs/Corrective Action Plans, Plan of Actions and Milestone (PO&AM) Reporting, and FISMA Audit and OIG Management Responses. These reports are required by FISMA and Federal Management's Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) and are consolidated for congressional reporting.

You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
