Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking a highly motivated candidate to lead a team supporting an advanced sensor program in the National Capital Region and will be based in our Hanover MD facility. This leader must display superior decision-making abilities and be able to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include customer coordination and interface, managing overall mission execution, assigned program budget as the Control Account Manager (CAM), and staff planning. Must possess ability to track and report team status/progress via EVM, understand multiple technical and support needs including system operation, familiar with logistics support concepts including maintenance and repair across multiple remote sites. Other duties include technical troubleshooting, limited maintenance and repair, and working with the program management team and technical peers to develop solutions to meet product specifications and customer expectations. This leader will also be instrumental in developing training for Raytheon and customer personnel, and will help to establish long-term operations and operational concepts. The successful candidate will report to the Program Manager and will coordinate with closely with other Integrated Product Teams, and provide feedback to the Chief Engineer, Technical Director, and the customer on system status and recommendations to solve technical issues or concerns. Required Skills: Active Secret clearance or higher and ability to obtain special accesses EVM certified or ability to achieve within 6 months PM Level 6 or higher or ability to achieve within 6 months Demonstrated independent leadership experience with solid team organization and communication skills Demonstrated interpersonal, team building, written and verbal communication skills Experience with standard computer applications Ability to work occasional shifts outside of normal duty hours and travel to remote sites on a periodic basis Desired Skills: Ability to perform system maintenance tasks using standard hand tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings including interconnect and mechanical/structural diagrams as well as construction drawings Experience with the generation of reports and data transfer Experience interacting with US Government organizations and functions Working knowledge of computer operating systems, including Linux Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills Experience working with radar systems Required Education: STEM degree in Civil, Computers, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems Engineering or Physics or 8 years of equivalent experience 176747 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
