Alion's analysis-driven tools support diverse tasks such as spectrum forensics and deconfliction, testing for coverage amid urban clutter, and antenna site planning. Alion's Radio Frequency and Electromagnetic Spectrum Engineering Directorate (RESED) offers a variety of work, from projects supporting international satellite coordination to countering IEDs. Our work is increasingly important in a world that depends on well-coordinated, interference-free spectrum access.We are seeking a Senior RF Wireless Engineer to support work in ISRResponsibilities Designing, performing, and documenting RF tests and measurements Expertise in RF data collection, reduction and, analysis, including EMC/EMI analysis and RF system design and integration. Performing vendor/product research to obtain suitable test and measurement equipment Preferred to have experience designing, fabricating, installing, operating, and testing of spectrum monitoring systems Experience using software for automation of lab and field testing; preferred to have experience developing/maintaining such software Troubleshooting of RF systems, equipment, and other electronicsQualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or math 5 or more years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated command of engineering principles, methods, and techniques in area of expertise. Advanced knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software. Effective customer and organizational level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
