Job DescriptionThe Maintenance III teammate is an advanced mechanic who performs all aspects of troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems as well as general building maintenance support in the distribution center environment.Pay rate: $28.00 per hour.The typical schedule for this position is Mon. thru Fri. 5am to 1:30pm.Generous benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance and company-paid life insurance begin your 60th day.401(k) with annual company match begins your 90th day.Paid holidays, vacation time, tuition assistance program, and more! BENEFITS: Operates, maintains, and repairs all associated equipment and control devises in compliance with all company regulations and standards., Implements planned maintenance procedures, performs job estimates, and maintains spare parts inventory., Monitors systems and equipment as well as related mechanical equipment and systems, such as HVAC and utilities and report issues/problems in a timely manner., Performs plumbing repairs where a trade license is not required., Troubleshoots and repairs electrical issues where a trade license is not required., Inspects and performs basic repairs to roofing materials., Performs office furniture, window, door and hardware repairs., Repairs floor and wall coverings., Under minimal supervision, analyze and resolve work problems, assist workers in solving work problems and, utilizing personal experience and judgment, plan and attain goals., Completes preventive and corrective maintenance work orders as scheduled/required., Provides support to co-workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, building managers, and engineers as necessary to support project and renovation work., Complies with all governmental, company, and industrial regulations, codes, and standards, health safety practices, and permit systems., Read and interpret work from drawings, written work orders, sketches, blueprints, and technical manuals., Maintains a strict schedule in order to be successful in the assignment, yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the requirements of the business. , Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work. QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant technical degree OR other professional training. , At least 5 years of professional industrial maintenance experience. , At least 4 years of conveyor and automatic sortation maintenance experience. , HVAC and welding certifications. , Read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings. , Experience with 480V/3-phase industrial equipment and controls. , Knowledge of PLC and computerized controlled automated systems, equipment, and functions. , Knowledge of OSHA regulations. , Basic computer skills as well as experience using a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection. , Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements. , All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
