The Navy Contract Analyst will: Use knowledge of Navy procurements to budget, plan, and execute contracts; allocate funds; and manage CLINS/SLINS. Develop J and other documents to support contract management. Assist with the contracts and procurement process by developing procurement packages, reviewing and editing Sections B through J, tracking required procurement actions, developing Procurement Requests, and performing contract closeouts. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree.Required Skills: Knowledge of FAR and DFAR Must be a United States citizen. Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance. Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Ability to be able to travel reasonable distances (up to 1/2 mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions. Ability to be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in a backpack or messenger bag in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions. Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Navy NAVSEA, NAVAIR, or SSP procurements. Minimum of 5 years knowledge of contract types including CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FFP, T and BAA.
