- We are seeking a Sr Systems Administrator with strong Linux and VM System Administration background.- This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and implementing solutions to optimize the infrastructure operations.- Build Automation and Integration- Designs, implements, codes, tests, documents, and maintains systems integration solutions.- Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.- Ensure successful planning, deployment, installation, and upgrades of products within required timelines and resource allocations Minimum Requirements- TS/SCI and CI Poly (Poly 100% required, if it is recently expired in the last 1-2 years, they can work with it)- Security+ or CISSP certified- 4+ years of experience directly related to Linux/UNIX System Administration in a development environment (ideally RHEL 5 or 7, currently migrating to 7)- Scripting (must understand the logic of scripting, any language is fine); do not need to be able to script from scratch- Integration/Automation experience (Ansible or Tenable or Terraforms or Docker, etc.)- Build Automation Experience - Must have the ability to orchestrate the install of a product by scripting it and building it in run books (Puppet or Chef or Altiris or IBM Director, etc.)- VMWare- Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common network services such as DNS, LDAP, Active Directory and troubleshooting(doesn't need front end Identity and Access Management type experience, but need understanding) Desired Skills- AWS- Automation experience- Knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS).- Knowledge of storage systems such as EMC VNX- Knowledge of DoD 8500.1, DIACAP, DITSCAP, NISPOM environments.- Demonstrated ability to research and create detailed computing system documentation and operational guides/procedures.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse user community in quick-response situations and to coordinate / collaborate with team members.
