Meritus Medical Group, Day Shifts, 80 Bi Weekly HoursIn the physician practice, under the direction of the Physician and/or Advanced Practice Professional and the direct supervision of the Practice Manager/Supervisor the Registered Nurse provides care for patients using nursing processes, independent judgement, and evidenced based practice to assess actual or potential health problems. In addition, the registered nurse provides other clinical tasks ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.RequirementsEducation - BSN preferred. Specific BSN requirements and timeframes are outlined in Registered Nurse Education Requirements Policy (HR II-11).Experience - Minimum one year clinical experience preferredLicensure/Certification - Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or if resident of a state that participates in Nurse Multi-State Compact agreement, holds Registered Nurse License from that state that is designated as "Compact" or "Multi-State Privilege" using primary source verification and provides additional documentation as required by the Maryland Board of Nursing. RN License from a compact state with a designation of "Single State" does not meet the requirement and nurse must obtain a Maryland license. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland. Current BLS (CPR) required in compliance with policy.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to apply the standards of the professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must have high level of organizational and communication skills.
