WANTED: Experienced Rapid Reaction Technology Office (RRTO) Project Manager with demonstrated experience in Research, Engineering and development efforts for defense organizations. The work will be located in National Capital Region. A week in the life of the RRTO Project Manager: As the single point of contact to manage all programmatic matters of tasker order and managing the day-to-day operation of the task order. Support the program manager to manage the team to producing risk-reducing prototypes designed to address Combatant Command (COCOM) threats and prototypes and demonstrations coordinated through interagency and Service partnerships. Track task order efforts to rapidly identify and resolve potential and new problems; and identifying and resolving administrative and contractual issues related to a support services contract is required. Experience in Quick Reaction Special Projects; Emerging Capabilities Technology Development; Biometrics & Forensics; Innovation Outreach; Rapid Developmental Prototyping & Experimentation; Operational-Field Demonstrations & Technology Assessment; and Project Integration. Experience in establishing strong working relationships with RRTO customers as well as organization leadership. Experience in assisting RRTO in making decisions regarding acquisition, technical and operational performance, risk, and suitability for approval as a prototype and operational demonstration. Demonstrated creativity, foresight, initiative, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems. Experience interfacing with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters to coordinate engineering and analysis needs and analytic results is highly desired. Drive continuous improvement. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: PMP Certification Experience interfacing with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters to coordinate engineering and technology needs and analyze results.
