The Office Engineer (Concrete) will work within the Engineering Dept. and will be in charge of all technical aspects related to concrete works for both underground and above ground structures within NEBT project. The resource must have good knowledge of large infrastructure projects, with focus on concrete structures.Responsibilities: * Preparation of Work Plans, Operating Procedures, Shop drawings, as-built drawings and various documents related to concrete works; * Oversight of reinforcement shop drawings preparation and coordination with construction dept. for reinforcement delivery schedule; * Preparation of concrete mixes design and coordination with concrete mix supplier for project needs, * Knowledge and implementation of thermal control measures and concrete durability requirements; * Coordination with concrete structures subcontractor for documents preparation, scheduling and site activities; * Construction follow-up with production dept. to solve any issue that may arise during every phase of concrete works; * Perform Design constructability reviews and follows design changes in cooperation with Designer and Owner's EngineerQualifications: * BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management * Prior experience in Heavy Civil Works, Design Build Projects (3 to 5 years) and familiarity the ACI standards are important pre-requisites to be evaluated for the position * Required software knowledge: Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD. * Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-orientedLane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
