A client is looking for a Control Engineer in the Hanover, MD area. This individual must have familiarity with Industry standards with a variety of the field concepts, best practices, and procedures. They will be expected to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of complicated tasks, and have a wide degree of creativity. Day to day responsibilities will include: Develop electrical documentation packages, descriptions of operations, interfaces between systems, and be on-site during startup to coordinate and help resolve issues. * Design in CAD electrical control panel layouts, bills of materials, and schematics. Engineer Power and Control Circuits. Architect Automation and Control Systems utilizing Commercial off the shelf components. Estimate electrical costs and create budgets per project with proposal scope. Program PLCs for control systems that include field devices such as photo eyes, shaft encoders, barcode scanners, pneumatics, scales, motors, VFDs, etc. Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree (3.5 GPA strongly preferred) AutoCAD experienceCome from a manufacturing/Industrial environmentAbility to configure PLCsElectrical and mechanical aptitude with willingness to design and perform field workWillingness to travel up to 65% of the time Desired SkillsDegree from a credited university with top engineering programs
