DescriptionSenior Acquisition AnalystPosition TitleSenior Acquisition AnalystBackgroundThe Sr. Contracting Specialist supports customer requirements in all aspects of pre-award and post-award contract administration, including market research, providing business advice to customers, preparing acquisition and award packages, including all related acquisition documents in support of DHS client. The Sr. Acquisition Analyst provides demonstrated acquisition and financial experience from pre- to post-award contract administration.Job DutiesDuties will include:Assist the government with the pre-award functions associated with awarding new contracts, task orders, agreements, and financial transfers, including procurement planning, advising, and assisting the government regarding contract or task order issues involving scope and compliance.Assist the government in measuring contractor performance including providing support to award fee boards or other processes as required.Support the government CORs with contract execution activities such as organizing and tracking contract invoices and deliverables, and monitoring burn rates, analysis of advance liquidations;Support the government in the preparation of procurement documentation such as market research, SOWs, performance work statements (PWSs), procurement requests (PRs), required justifications, determinations and findings, best procurement approach, J etc.;Provide support and assistance to the government in preparing IT acquisition review (ITAR) Checklists and briefings and adjudicating National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) and DHS CIO review comments and tracking approval.Support the government with the preparation of the Balance Workforce Strategy (BWS), including but not limited to the area of cost analysis.Support the government in drafting schedules using Microsoft Project for procurements in the pre-award phase and after contracts have been awarded for key contract dates.Support the government in analyzing acquisition policies, plans and procedures. The contractor shall assist the government in procurement forecasting, acquisition planning and strategy, status updates, and memos for record.Assist CORs with contract closeout tasks including researching and analysis of UDOs, final invoicing and IPAC status.Minimum Position RequirementsMA/MS degree in Business Administration or a related discipline10 or more years Federal and DoD Contract Management experience, to include: development of acquisition documentation; data collection and analysis; invoice review/analysis; deliverable management; spend plan tracking; and development of status reports, briefings, or other ad-hoc products to meet customer needsExperience with Information Technology contractingFAC-C Level II/III Contract CertificationNational Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certified Federal Contracts Manager/ Professional Contracts ManagerDAWIA Level II/III Acquisition certificationExpert with all aspects of acquisition life cycle activities (pre-award, award, post-award).Ability to support the preparation, organization, and maintenance of acquisition records and files documenting performance and complianceExperience with Information Technology IDIQ contracting and task order managementStrong procurement, acquisition, purchasing, procurement analyst, or price/cost analyst experienceDemonstrated experience with Excel spreadsheets for contract execution supportSecurity Clearance RequirementTop Secret with SCI EligibilityPlace of PerformanceContractor SiteTo Apply For This PositionUse the following link to apply: (Insert link here)Company HighlightsAt LHG, we offer our employees a full comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
