Company DescriptionIIA a Mid Tier Government Contractor is currently looking for BMC Remedy Developer/Administrator to work in Alexandria, VAJob DescriptionBMC Remedy Developer/AdministratorExperience in various Remedy ITSM modules with version 7.6.04 (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, SRM, Asset, CMDB)Will create accounts, support groups and Product Categories or other needs in Process and Foundation Data.SQL SkillsReporting Assistance including BMC AnalyticsServer Side Support (LINUX) for Application ServersDemonstrated knowledge of IT infrastructure to identify the relationships between configuration items - ITIL experienced.Assist the System Engineers and application support teams on the use of the tool.Technical Qualifications:* 10 + years of overall IT Experience, 5+ years BMC Remedy Developer and Administration experience.* 3+ years of working experience in as Tier 1 Support in a Help Desk organization* 5+ years of hands-on Tier 1 Support experience in resolving tickets by urgency and priority* Demonstrated experience in BMC ITSM Remedy Software modules (eg, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, SRM, RKM, Kinetic) in version 7.6.04* Strong communication skills* Experience managing Remedy Accounts* Experience with ITSM system documentation updates* Experience with SQL/Oracle* Experience interpreting and updating with system documentation.* May participate in special projects as required.* Experience in UNIX/LINUX environment* ITIL Certification will be a big plusEducation:B.S in Computer Science (Work Experience will be considered in lieu of Degree)Clearance Requirements:Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder and able to hold a security clearance.
