Sr. HR Systems Administrator Requisition ID 245930 Location: Johns Hopkins @ Eastern, 1101 E. 33rd Street, Baltimore, MD 21218 Grade: NN Position Summary: The Sr. HR Systems Administrator will be responsible for development and support of data management of HR enterprise-wide systems and innovative reporting solutions in support of strategic human resource initiatives. The Sr. HR Systems Administrator will utilize expert knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop, distribute, and support human resources reports, as needed. As the 'super user' for JHHSC Human Resources, the HR Systems Administrator is responsible for providing first line support and manage systems administration for all users of the HR systems. Provide high quality HR systems support across the organization, integrate the SAP system and data with all other HR systems, develop HR data accuracy and integrity with health system and department users, and produce regular management information. This position will be responsible for managing larger HRIS projects and assisting others with managing smaller projects. This role will also develop and provide end-user support for all core HR systems, as well as continually improving global processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data. The Sr. HR Systems Administrator will work closely with teams such as IT, Finance, Payroll and various business groups to build and monitor data interfaces and provide employee data reports. Assists in the support of systems training to HR users through training team initiatives. Offers continued support and user development after first-time training. Assists in performance improvement projects that improve the use of systems functionality. Supports the additional coaching and support required by upgrades and adoption of new functionality, or new users. The HR Systems Administrator will be expected to provide excellent customer support for our client's SuccessFactors systems, as well as to perform routine maintenance and project support for systems. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Statistics, Information Technology or related field required. Knowledge: Requires an understanding of Human Resources policies and terminology, and business Administrator processes. Requires an understand roles and security required when developing or customizing system objects Knowledge or aptitude to create new forms; modify existing forms; add new fields to profiles Knowledge or aptitude to provide troubleshooting expertise to users on an ad hoc basis when the scope of the problem exceeds the assigned administrator level of intervention. Requires an understanding of system interfaces with other HR systems such as SAP. Must have experience with relational databases and querying. Ability to impart knowledge on particular aspects of HR systems. Knowledge of data protection issues and their practicable application in the workplace including the importance of confidentiality Requires strong background in data extraction, manipulation of raw data, data relationships, data mining, ad-hoc analysis and metrics presentations. Skills: Elicit requirements and develop appropriate solutions for tasks of all levels of complexity. Administrator will generate report solutions using designated systems. Administrator will leverage technical knowledge and will design, modify and populate relational databases. Ability to understand department needs is required. Ability to meet project deadlines while accurately providing attention to detail. Uses experience, research and analysis to translate department requirements into effective solutions. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Must engage end users and leadership to understand the business requirements when called to troubleshoot complex technical and administrative issues and resolve problems in a complex environment. Ability to work with decentralized, multi-level and diverse technical teams, effectively supporting HR solution adoption and utilization. Promotes effective team communication and strong working relationships. Some training and coaching will be required. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years of HR system administration, HR systems customer support or HR Information Systems experience required. Experience with SaaS system configuration, user administration and table maintenance including Security, Reporting, data loads, form routing, end-user troubleshooting, etc. is required. Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors or other similar HR ERP system is strongly preferred. Machines, Tools, Equipment: SAP applications, SuccessFactors platform, other SaaS HR Systems, MS Office, basic office equipment, familiar with computer-based training.
