Jr. Cyber Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Jr. Cyber Threat Analyst to join a large government contract located in Beltsville, MD. The Jr. Cyber Threat Analyst will have to opportunity to join a quickly growing Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT). Responsibilities of the Jr. Cyber Threat Analyst include:Perform detailed packet capture analysisCreate findings report of vector and attack analysisProvide continuous monitoring and ticket processing for a structured incident response processReview cyber security event data (firewalls, DNS, web proxy, email gateway logs, etc.)Qualifications for the Jr. Cyber Threat Analyst include: 0-1+ years of Cyber Security experienceKnowledgeable with Wireshark and/or other Cybersecurity tools (ie SIEM, Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, etc.)Must have an active Secret Security Clearance (Interim Secret may be acceptable)Candidates must be open to shift work Compensation for the Jr. Cyber Threat Analyst include:Salary Range: $55,000-$62,500 depending on experienceFull benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, United Healthcare, MetLife Dental, VSP Vision, 401k
