Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for an experienced Executive Secretary at our Mt. Washington executive office in Baltimore, Maryland. The Executive Secretary will screen and handle matters in support of the Vice President, Medical Affairs. Performs administrative duties such as drafting provider contracts, editing and typing complex reports, developing and managing projects as well as completely executing or delegating day-to-day administrative tasks. Handles confidential information and relays this information when necessary. Develops tracking methods for a multitude of projects. May oversee similar work of support staff. Location: 6225 Smith Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21209 Shift: Exempt, Full-time - 40 hours per week Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Secretarial Science or equivalent experience is preferred. A minimum of five years of related secretarial, administrative and office management experience in support of executive level staff is required. Requires a unique ability to maintain high level of customer service as a representative of the Vice President. Possesses a professional manner and has communication and interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact and diplomacy. Ability to interact with diverse groups of people both within and outside the corporation. Demonstrated ability to work under general direction with minimal supervision and use own initiative in complex problem solving on behalf of the Vice President.
