As a demo merchandising specialist you will be visiting top grocery and other specialty retailers to Educate, Demonstrate, Sell(R) to customers; maintain and improve brand visibility; educate retail team members and drive brand performance. Demo Merchandising Specialists are passionate about natural, organic and specialty food, beverage, bath and body care - and able to communicate that passion when educating, demonstrating and selling to customers.People from many different careers and backgrounds thrive as Demo Merchandising Specialists, but great customer service and excellent communication skills are what we all have in common. If you'd rather hit the road than sit in an office, to travel to different stores in your region - we definitely want to hear from you!RequirementsResponsibilities:Complete demos, in-store visits, merchandising and store training to an exceptional standardActively engage with customers through education during visitsRepresent our incredible clients to the highest professional standardBuild great relationships with stores and retailers in your territoryComplete in-depth, tailored online training for all brands you representCommunicate with your management team swiftly and reliably on all issuesExcellent time management skillsComplete any necessary administrative functions such as organizing and maintaining your equipmentQualifications:1+ years of customer service experienceEngaging and friendly demeanorStrong oral and written communication skillsBe a self starter, who can work independentlyAbility to stand for a long period of time (4-6 hours)Ability to bend, reach, turn and twistMust be able to travel to and from stores with necessary equipment (which may include a portable demo table and/or cooking equipment) weighing up to 50 lbs.Regular weekend availabilityJob Type: Part timeRate of Pay: $18 per hour for demonstrations$10 per merchandising visitPay rate for other in-store visits are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.Note: Please apply for the nearest location to you - we consider all applicants, including outside our posted territories.
