We are the backbone of TPG.The Role - WhoYou'llWork With Upon contract award, the TPG Regional Program Coordinator will work directly with TPG personnel, The Office of Refugee Resettlement's (ORR's) Division of Unaccompanied Children's Operations (DUCO) and the POC for the Contracting Officer (CO) and designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Indirectly works with Administration for Children and Families (ACF).What You'll DoImagine. Innovate. Impact on deliverables in the interest of our customers. You will oversee the entire operations of this high-visible, mission-focused program and accountable for its outcome; to successfully deliver transport services at a national level. You will ensure efficient and timely program execution and shall be the focal point for all required program tasks. You will keep the CO and COR informed of any performance issues, cost or financial concerns and potential problems that, if unresolved, will adversely affect the performance, schedule, or costs.The Impact of Your Results - Will achieve cost effective scalable provisions, deliver mass transport solutions, and mitigate adverse impact to the contract and subsequently to ORR/ACF.What We're Looking for Key Skills: Ability to persuade and influence Proven leadership experience with large-scale enterprises along with financial, technical, administrative, contractual, design and delivery of superior services associated with the implementation, daily operations, and program management with a total value of at least $50M Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously whilst being comfortable with ambiguity, flexibility in a rapidly changing environment Mature and stable judgment and the ability to handle crisis intervention, conflict, confrontation or other complex people situations with compassion and decisiveness Aptitude to work cross functionally to deliver the highest quality of work under extreme pressure and in a fast-paced environment Skilled with developing and implementing standard operating procedures Ability to oversee personnel across a range of experience and expertise Ability to identify areas in need of improvement and improving program performance Proven experience and high level of comfortability operating technology and learning new software applications quickly Key Knowledge: Master's degree in Transportation Planning, Public Administration, or a related field Five (5) years of progressive project management experience on projects demonstrating advanced levels of financial and managerial responsibilities Experience in local, regional, or state transportation planning and policy, urban planning, intergovernmental agency outreach and/or closely related planning program area Leadership experience across multiple worksites Key Behaviors: A passion to be involved in high-impact work that makes a difference A drive for excellence and continual improvement An embracing and coaching mindset A cultivating and inspiring vision The Work Environment - Headquartered in Ashburn, VA with regular travel to clients and other TPG regional worksites.Work Schedule - Due to the importance of this position, employees supporting this contract can be required to work extended hours to include evening work, on-call, and weekends to support time-sensitive or real-time complex services. This position is considered ESSENTIAL. This means the Program Director will be required to work during emergency or crisis situations, including inclement weather, natural and man-made disasters, etc.Physical Demands - To perform the essential functions of the job, qualified candidates must be able to perform the following: reaching, grasping, hearing/listening, seeing/observing, mobility to walk for extended periods of time, run, carry, load and unload luggage.
