They will also assist with the production of financial reports, document processes and procedures, ensure compliance and work to complete a clean year-end audit.Staff Accountant Responsibilities: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to inventory in addition to bank and other accounts.Conduct timely and accurate financial closing and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual basis). Oversee the inventory process and provide support to office and medical staff for assigned UUG locations.Provide inventory support and guidance on the inventory management system (IOS) to UUG locations.Review, reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies and record in general ledger.Record inventory transactions from inventory management software to general ledger system.Monitor and reconcile inventory variances from physical count to book count at time of month-end physical inventory count.Assist with financial analysis, reporting and decision-making support for all department heads and key business activities including answering financial questions regarding revenue, expenses, budget, productivity, staffing, new lines of business, etc.Assist in preparation of preliminary and year-end audit reconciliations and schedules.Conduct regular ledger maintenance of chart of accounts and general ledger mapping.Assist with accounting and financial support for UUG affiliated companies.Perform other office duties as assigned by manager.Keywords: Accountant, accounting, corporateAccounting BackgroundRequirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
