Senior Associate, HR Generalist HITT Contracting is seeking an HR Generalist to assist with the day-to-day operations of Human Resources needs. The ideal candidate will have high levels of motivation, strong organization skills and be influential in achieving operational excellence. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, policy implementation, HR reporting, and employee programming. This position serves as a shared service between many teams within the HR department, but reports directly to the HR Manager.Responsibilities Acts as the first line of support to team members for HR-related inquiries Processes status changes and documentation related to the employee life cycle (ie offer letters, internal transfers and offboarding documentation) Leads thorough and objective investigations as needed, assess risk and determine appropriate course of action, working closely with the HR leadership and legal as appropriate Conducts feedback sessions with team members to include stay and exit interviews and provides subsequent reports Provides support to HITT's Futures Program to include career fair planning, phone screening, and interview scheduling Assists in preparation and execution of HITT's Internship and/or Externship programs Deliver Recruitment-wide administrative support on an as-needed basis to ensure a quality candidate experience companywide Assists in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of best practices, policies and initiatives to include employee programming Prepares quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics and KPIs Supports broader HR projects as needed Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 2-3 years of directly related generalist-related experience is required to include recruiting and employee relations Knowledge of fundamental HR principles and practices Proficient in HR and legal compliance such as FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc. Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Possesses strong business acumen Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience building relationships internally and externally Possesses a strong business acumen and excellent conflict resolution skills Keen attention to detail with ability to track and manage multiple projects at one time Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information Eagerness to integrate into a family-oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly demanding work environment HITT Contracting Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
