The NA monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as by identifying and diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting network performance. Qualifications, Education and SkillsDuties and ResponsibilitiesBuild, document, maintain, monitor, secure and troubleshoot layer 2 and layer 3 networks across facilitiesManage WAN providers and links that connect MOTB facilities, vendors and cloud resourcesMaintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networksDeploy, maintain and administer switch, router, firewall, load balancer, VoIP and WLAN fabrics.Work with vendors, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing managementProvide high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, bridges and routersEnsure proactive engagement in incident management process, working with cross-functional teams to minimize the impact of network service outagesTest and document network configurations and performanceRecommend and implement network security protocols, such as network segmentation, logging systems, network privileged account management, etc.Manage Wi-Fi-networksManage maintenance agreements, and maintain consistent device configurations, accurate device asset inventories and up-to-date network diagrams and documentationParticipate in network and security architecture, design and auditing processes that meet the PCI Data Security Standard.Share 7x24 rotational responsibilities for On-Call support Other duties as assigned EducationFour-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.QualificationsAt least 5 years of network administration experience requiredDemonstrated CCNA-level (or equivalent) understanding of the OSI Network Reference Model in a TCP/IP protocol and technologies framework, including 10/100/1000baseT Ethernet, 802.1q, VRRP/HSRP, Spanning Tree/PVST, DiffServ QoS, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP and IPSecExperience with SNMP monitoring and packet capture tools such as Nimsoft, SolarWinds(R), Plixer Scrutinizer (TM) Analyzer, Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.Experience with Cisco Meraki preferredExperience with next-generation firewallsMust be authorized to work in the United States.SkillsExperience with Windows server technologies related to computer networks, such as DNS, DHCP, NPS/RADIUSExperience with network auditing and logging systemsExperience creating network documentation, such as diagrams, naming conventions, IP ranges, WAN links, etc.Effective written and verbal communication skillsExcellent people skills with an ability and willingness to interact with end-users in a supportive, responsive mannerAbility to handle confidential information
