Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurate and timely processing of invoices for approval and matching invoices to related Purchase Orders and Receipts Help provide and prepare supporting documentation for external auditors and other consultants Follow up on invoicing issues and payment inquiries with internal/external customers Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management Processing of expense reports through the Concur System, as needed Participate in the month-end close process Assist with monthly account reconciliations and analysis Assist with year-end A/P duties, including filing of Form 1099s, etc. Performs other duties as required to support the Finance Department Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of Accounts Payable/Accounting experience BS Degree in Accounting or related field Preferred but not required Manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience a plus Government Contract and Project Cost Accounting experience a plus SageX3 and SAP system experience a plus Strong analytical and writing skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be proficient in MS Excel, as well as have general PC skill Other Qualifying Requirements: Results oriented; dependable; and a self-starter Has a high attention to detail and the ability to self-prioritize workflow and critically evaluate information Experience working with other departments Must be proactive, enthusiastic and motivated to learn new skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the company Experience using the Concur Travel and Expense System Highly flexible and ability to work effectively in a team environment This position requires periodic weekend/evening work.
