Our corporate growth has coincided with our investment in our employees as well as in outreach to our civilian and military community.ResponsibilitiesOBXtek is currently staffing for Finance Director for a USAID contract.The Finance Director will:Be responsible for the management of overall financial aspects of the program, establishing and maintaining sound budget management practices to ensure the project's compliance with USAID procedures, policies and regulations;Develop tracking systems and budget reports to provide detailed information for on-demand cost allocation, pipeline analysis, and forecasting for multiple funding sources.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the financial management, accounting, and financial reporting of the project;Establish and oversee internal control systems as well as accounting and financial reporting protocols;Support the COP and DCOP in liaising with home office (US-based) staff on project matters;Oversee payroll procedures for national staff, administer payroll, and monitor employee time keeping;Work with home office staff to develop and implement office administrative and personnel systems;Supervise finance, HR, and administrative for the project;Maintain financial files and support annual audits; andPerform other duties as assigned.The primary place of performance is Washington, DC at USAID and our McLean Headquarters, VA..Possible travel CONUS.QualificationsAt least 8 years of professional experience managing project operations, financial and contractual aspects of international development projects. Experience on USAID-funded projects required.Strong analytical and computer skills, including significant experience with excel and accounting packages.Experience creating Financial reportsProven leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working in Nepal or in the region is highly preferred.English language fluency required, with excellent written and oral communications skills.Education:Bachelor's Degree (minimum), or a Master's Degree (desirable), in Finance, accounting, economics, or relevant field.Desired qualifications: CPFO, CGFM, CFA, CMA, CIMA Company InformationHeadquartered in McLean, Virginia and founded in 2009, OBXtek is a fast-growing leader in the government contracting field.
