This will include production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.Responsibilities: Prepare monthly adjusting journal entries and all supporting balance sheet reconciliation schedules as part of a monthly close.Calculate monthly accruals for revenue and labor calculations related to bi-weekly payroll periods.Manage month-end and year-end close process.Prepare financial reporting packages to include project and financial performance reports for review by the leadership team.Produce the annual budget and forecasts. Provide monthly company budget updates.Monitor indirect rate structures and provide input to company leadership to enhance the company's competitive position for bidding, while maximizing cost recovery.Monthly meeting and ongoing coordination to review financial results and opportunities for process improvement.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for pricing decisions, and contract negotiationsQualifications: 10+ years of strong accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.CPA preferred.Bachelor's degree in a relevant fieldExperience in Federal Government Contract Accounting is required. Extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop Premier.Experience with ICAT preferred.Extensive experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Benefits:We value our employees' time and efforts.
