Overview The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) Department is located at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, MD. The DNA department is part of the NAWCAD Digital, Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement ( DAiTA ) group. DNA provides Information Technology (IT) and cybersecurity products to NAWCAD, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) headquarters, other Department of the Navy (DON) components, and the Fleet. This Task Order is for contractor support services necessary to perform Business Operations, Customer Portfolio Management/Customer Relationship Management and Horizontal Integration across the DNA enterprise. This Task Order comprises the following: Business Operations : (1) Administrative and project support ; (2) Security and personnel support ; and (3) Department leadership and business operational support . Other areas of support includes : Functional Area Management (FAM) support ; Customer Portfolio Management (CPM)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ; Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) ; and Embedded Support. Responsibilities The candidate will analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software. Responsible for project management, systems analysis, customer facilitation, product exploration, technology planning, technical requirements analysis and solution formulation is support of ITSM development and implementation. This position will have Privileged User access in accordance with DOD 8570-1. Qualifications The candidate must have more than 10 years of experience in performing work related to the labor category functional description. Must have a BA/BS degree OR an Associate's degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience, OR no degree and 6 additional years of relevant experience. The candidate will also have Security+ CE, and an OS Certification. ITIL IV Expert certification is highly desirable Prior Navy experience required They typically will work on high visibility/mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently, and they may oversee the efforts of less senior staff assigned to a specific job.
