Senior Systems Administrator

We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.We are currently seeking an ALE Senior Systems Administrator to support our Patuxent River, MD customer.The incumbent will - Perform tasks which include but are not limited to implementing and maintaining cyber security compliance, performing system configuration management, and validating system requirements compliance. Ensure system compliance is maintained in accordance with the current Authority to Operate (ATO). Identifying cyber security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of systems, software, applications, and new technology initiatives. Develop a program of action and milestones for risk, threats and vulnerabilities that cannot be mitigated with appropriate timeframes. Verify contingency and continuity of operations plans are documented, developed, and tested. Integrate processes and methodologies to resolve system problems or technology problems as they relate to system, applications, and IA requirements. Apply knowledge of current DoD Cyber Security policy, tactics, techniques, and doctrine as required to support system implementation, system administration and cyber security reporting requirements. Review and track IA compliance metrics. Draft program related documentation to support all activities. Install, configure, and maintain specialized software systems and applications that they satisfy organizational and cyber security requirements for timely, effective, and efficient collection, processing, and storing of data. Provide system and database administration support for servers hosting applications and software systems. Coordinate system, cyber security, and database administration efforts for specialized software systems in coordination with the designated Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Maintain systems/applications on various servers, computers, and PEMA platforms (ie, MK5, MK8, etc ), operating in a stand-alone and/or network connected configuration. Sustain current production software. Troubleshoot, and resolve all ALE system and connectivity issues. Monitor system performance, install and test all ICP build deliveries prior to fleet distribution, keeping concurrency with DADMS approved applications, including third-party software. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform system backup and recovery. Perform PEMA image configuration management per PEMA platform, and distribute PEMA images to PMA 260 for new and refreshed PEMA deliveries to the fleet. Monitor system performance and track monthly metrics (ie percentage of system up time, amount of data archived via back-up routines, available data storage capacity, and storage area network utilization and available capacity). Perform FAM registration, tracking and updates of software used in support of the program mission. Required Education and Experience: At least 12 years of experience in related field.
