NOTE: This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote positionA$ 'A' located anywhere in the CONUS. The USACE RITS contract will provide modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Services will support the mission needs of USACEA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, DC, nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,500 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon. With advanced knowledge and appreciable latitude in decision-making, provides engineering efforts to develop, plan, and implement innovative turnkey connectivity solutions and infrastructure for campus environments, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE OCIO G6 policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as BICSI industry standards and best practices. Researches, maintains, and applies expertise in emerging technologies and industry developments, trends, best practices, A$ 'A' for optimizing and modernizing IT service delivery. Develops, plans, reviews othersA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents plans, and implements structured turnkey inside-plant, cabling solutions to support wired and wireless voice, data, and video services to the desktop at all USACE sites. Also supports building-to-building connectivity for non-standard locations such as hydroelectric stations, parks, locks, and dams. Translates goals, commitments, requirements, and objectives into plans, tasks, and activities for technology solutions. Implements standards and interfaces that best fulfill interoperability and mission requirements, A$ 'A' Supports changes needed in service distribution methods to update bandwidth, such as switching from coaxial cable to fiber. ManagesA$ 'A' moves, adds, changes, upgrades, and de-installs. May be responsible for: Ensuring the efforts of the deployment project managers, infrastructure management, systems management, and engineering teams. Direct and manage efforts of telecom technicians and workloads. Stay apprised of all inter and intra organizational projects and issues in EUE. Ensure internal processes and procedures are documented and updated. Ensure that all OLAs for all relevant processes are created and maintained. Develop and conduct employee performance reviews and monitor progress towards objectives quarterly and provide updates and revisions as required. Responsible for telephone port allocations. Provide interface to customer on high-level issues or requests. Oversee day-to-day resolution of system problems and root cause analysis. Ensures documentation of entire Telecom Network and infrastructure. Ensures the Change Management Process is being followed. Collaborate with LAN/WAN organizations on current and future network configurations. Provide management and serve as an escalation point for the deployment and infrastructure staffs. Provides guidance to staff and monitors performance. Provide monthly reporting on open project, outstanding issues, and staff performance. Work special projects as assigned by manager. Ensure that Telecom Equipment Tracking system is updated with all relevant changes and modifications are completed. Build efficient relationships with interface organizations (ie, CREF, Site Support, and ITO). Ensures that the staff meets the established SLAs. Monitors ticketing queues. Ensures system backups and preventative maintenance occur on a scheduled basis. Ensures maintenance vendors are performing to the contract. Oversees troubleshooting and resolution ensuring escalation in a timely fashion. Provides and keeps current detailed documentation of processes. A$ 'A' A$ 'A' A$ 'A' *Qualifications* EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.A$ 'A' Additional four (4) years experience in lieu of degree.A$ 'A' * BICSI experience is a plus CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:A$ 'A' Must have or be able to obtain a Seret clearance A$ 'A' A$ 'A' A$ 'A' Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000.
