Our clients include firms in a variety of industries, including financial services, technology, life sciences, and manufacturing to name just a few.A$ 'A' Experienced in serving clients with a local, national or international presence, and a number of diverse organizational structures, our professionals can help develop meaningful solutions for your business.Responsibilities:Manage multiple concurrent engagements within the TAC practice to provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to clientsDemonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of complex accounting conceptsProvide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverablesCollaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex accounting mattersAssist in the preparation of technical memos and other client deliverablesManage TAC engagements and the engagement teamsOversee engagement economics and manage appropriate resources for efficient engagement modelsAnticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise; identify performance improvement opportunitiesUnderstand RSM's service lines and work as a team in providing an integrated service deliveryDevelop others within the TAC practice through mentoring, training and advising on career development or participating in other Firm initiativesUnderstand RSM's lines of businesses, availability of services and where applicable, discuss with client management of opportunities to make valuable introductions to others in the firmWork with the National Leader on "go to market" strategy, participating in proposals, pitch meetings, and developing marketing collateralDevelop a strategy to utilize relationships external to the firm with different types of Centers of Influence to effectuate business growthSubscribe to and actively read industry publications and share relevant information with clients as considered applicableEnsure professional development through ongoing educationWillingness to travel 40% or less of the year, depending on your clientsRequired Qualifications:BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree7+ years of current or recent experience in a public accounting, financial reporting or technical accounting capacityExcellent team and project management skillsAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of audit services with knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and FASB regulationsA proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationshipsA successful record of directing and deploying staff senior associates/supervisors, managers on multiple, simultaneous engagementsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in managing large and small projects related to Complex Debt/Equity,A$ 'A' IFRS Conversions, Revenue Recognition, Reviewing Business Models, Impairment Analysis, IPO transaction support, Fair Value Accounting, Lease Accounting, and VIE AnalysisCPA or equivalent certificationYou want your next step to be the right one.
