Title:Senior Systems Engineer, Defense Readiness Reporting SystemWork Location: Government location: Mark Center, Alexandria VAJob Summary: Support operations and maintenance of DoD Unclassified and SIPRNet web applications for the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Strategic (DRRS-S). Configure, operate, backup, patch and maintain system servers and databases. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Support software engineering and test teams in the integration of system updates and releases. Provide technical resolution of escalated user issues.Required Qualifications:Active SECRET Clearance.BS degree in engineering or applied science with at least 3 years of related experience. In lieu of degree, 11 years related experience.CompTIA(R) Security+ certification.Work hours: after a short initial training period, must be willing to work night and weekend shifts.Comfortable working in hardware, virtual, and cloud solutions.Experience working with Linux and Microsoft Windows Server (2008+).Designing, building, installing, configuring enterprise web applications on the .MIL or .SMIL environment.Experience maintaining security and data privacy of information systems.Desired Qualifications:Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP(R)) certification.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
