Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Payroll Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will:
• Process payroll bi-weekly and ensure employees are paid accurately and timely.
• Assist with monitoring and process edits in Kronos Time and Attendance System.
• Provide customer support to employees and department managers to resolve and payroll related problems or inquiries.
• Monitor phone call inquiries and requests from internal and external personnel.
• Review and maintain incoming information received from the main Payroll department email box.
• Maintain and process all court ordered employee garnishments, including responses and releases.
• Assist with processing quarterly and annual tax returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions, including forms W-2 and amended returns, as necessary.
• Assist with processing payroll deposits and adjustments, as necessary.
• Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
• Work collaboratively with other service teams (Accountants, HR, Benefits, etc.) and ensure all client service expectations are satisfied.
• Review, process and input employee tuition reimbursement requests, employee relocation allowances, retroactive pay adjustments, employee deduction refunds and other miscellaneous payroll transactions.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in payroll a plus.
• Experience with Kronos and Workday Payroll a plus.
