Edelman is looking for a Senior Copywriter to help us inject creativity into the complex world of Public Affairs. Our growing creative team are the masterminds behind some of the world's most talked about work. From fighting for intersectional environmental justice to controlling the narrative on energy issues, each piece of work that we put into the world is designed to capture the attention of the American media and policy influencer landscape. It's not enough to be culturally relevant-our briefs demand that we change culture and policy around us. Now we need a Senior CW with strong craftsmanship who can help unlock more of those smart and timely ideas that can educate, inform and persuade. We know what you're saying, "But isn't Edelman a PR company?" Sure, public relations was and is part of who we are, but in recent years we've grown our surrounding departments and become a new kind of agency. RESPONSIBILITIES This Copywriter needs to be a creative problem solver for our clients and carry a strong set of skills to make the visuals of each idea pop. We're a scrappy team, so we expect this CW not just to provide direction to your creative and account teams, but also to execute your own ideas. From quick headlines to killer scripts, we want someone who can take an idea from the conceptual phase and bring it all the way to a client presentation. You will be joining a team of diverse creative personalities who are masters of their craft, tapping not only their professional experiences, but also their passion for art and life with every assignment.
