Year after year named as a Baltimore Top Workplace, we offer great benefits, generous paid time off, and provide career opportunities where you can make meaningful differences in the lives of others as we fulfill our mission to love, serve, teach and work for justice.The Law Clerk Intern under the supervision of a licensed attorney, the supervising and managing attorney, and other staff will learn how to draft motions; interview clients; draft briefs; compile immigration applications such as asylum; conduct various legal research projects; appear before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and related federal immigration agencies; and perform state and federal administrative records review. To the extent possible, the Law Clerk Intern program includes visits and tours to immigration courts and federal agencies, as well as social activities.This internship is unpaid but does accept public interest grant applications or, alternatively, certify class credit.This internship requires:Student enrolled in law school working towards their JD or enrolled Law Graduate working towards their LLM. Must have completed their Bachelor's degree.Fluent in English and Spanish, speaking and writing, preferred.Have interest in immigration law and policy.Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.
