Summary

About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS 12 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 10 in the broadband.

Responsibilities

  • Performs analysis, evaluation and oversight of all aspects of the planning, programming, budgeting and execution of major weapons System programs in a Project Manager (PM) office.
  • Establishes schedules for planning, coordination and accomplishment of work to facilitate the acquisition and/or work process.
  • Serves as a senior analyst performing a wide variety of program and budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets that support overall operations or major substantive programs or projects in the PEO/PM.
  • Serves as an expert adviser to the PEO/PM regarding the status, efficiency, or effectiveness of acquisition programs.

  • This position requires Level II certification in Acquisition Career Field Program Management or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within 24 months of appointment.

Specialized Experience: is defined as (1) developing programmatic milestone documentation, monitoring obligations and disbursements through spend plans and creating documentation involved in the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process to include P-Forms, R-Forms, Smart Charts, and Program Objective Memorandum(POM) briefings.
(2) analyzing programmatic and operational impacts of Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA), Congressional marks, Department of Army adjustments and other increases or decrements to program budget.
