Job Description

The Product Manager, Subscriptions Tools will play a critical role in subscriptions growth by building internal tools and reporting capabilities that streamline business processes and unlock new opportunities to quickly spin up subscriber acquisition and retention experiments. This person will be responsible for exceptional product execution and delivery for key projects in the subscription team's product portfolio. 

In this role, you will partner with senior product managers, engineers, and product designers to build strategic internal tools that support the subscriber journey from lead generation through to purchase and renewal. You will work in an Agile development environment and help the product team define and document feature requirements, create and execute against release plans, and proactively remove obstacles to delivery.

Your day-to-day
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to capture requirements, maintain clear and accurate feature documentation, and create user stories.
  • You participate in daily Scrum ceremonies and proactively identify and help mitigate release blockers.
  • You partner with senior product managers to create release plans that iteratively deliver valuable features and improvements for stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, and Analytics.
  • You use data and research to generate actionable insights and recommend opportunities to evolve our internal tools so that we build scalable solutions that can grow with us.
  • You lead through influence by building trust and alignment with clear, proactive communication about your plans, progress, successes, and setbacks.


Minimum qualifications
  • 2+ years as a product owner or product manager with experience in digital media or consumer-facing digital applications
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build trust with internal stakeholders, factor their requirements into product decisions, handle ambiguity, and drive toward shared clarity
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills 
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to identify user needs and inform solutions

Preferred qualifications
  • Working knowledge of industry standard software such as Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience collaborating with large, remote teams using communication tools such as Slack and Zoom
  • Passionate about solving enterprise problems by building internal-facing products and features
