Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capabilities around service line profitability reporting,
operational reporting and scenario analytics
• Create financial and operational models for senior leaders to evaluate key
business decisions around the growth, resizing, acquisitions, joint ventures, or
• Work with leaders throughout the organization to ensure assumptions and
modeling accurately reflect the business decision being contemplated
• Lead and mentor business analysts to support organizational analysis needs
• Translate detailed analytical models to executive summary presentations with
necessary conclusions for senior leader decision making
• Provide subject matter expertise on business data sources and business rules
to Business Intelligence department

Required Qualifications: Competencies

• Working knowledge of GAAP rules and procedures
• General working knowledge of HSCRC and Medicare reimbursement
• Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics and ratios and their
application in evaluating opportunities
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills. Ability to model complex problems
with numerous assumptions, inputs and scenarios
• Strong knowledge and ability to translate data into information for decision
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment
• Ability to communication complex analytics to different types of audiences
• Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or
equivalent is required
• CPA, MBA or other advanced Master's degree in Healthcare or Public Health
• 10 years' healthcare financial management experience preferred with some
experience in a financial leadership role in a healthcare setting strongly
• Experience with the financial/reimbursement environment in Maryland
• 1 year of management experience

Work Schedule:

M-F Days, occasionally evenings and weekends as needed.
