Job Description

Owned by Jeff Bezos, Arc XP ( https://www.arcxp.com/ ) is a state-of-the-art digital experience platform engineered to meet the demands of enterprise brands and media and entertainment companies around the world. An integrated ecosystem of cloud-based tools, Arc helps create and distribute content, drive digital commerce, and deliver powerful multichannel experiences to both internal and external audiences. Today, Arc powers more than 1,400 sites across 24 countries, reaching over 1.5 billion unique monthly visitors.

At the core of Arc's platform is a headless CMS, comprised of content creation tools that are second to none. In our media & entertainment (M & E) vertical, customers depend on this platform to run their content-centric businesses. From written content creation to photo asset management, broadcaster-capable video publishing to a workflow management system that can handle the needs of the world's largest content producers, Arc's headless CMS has it all. Now Arc is expanding into brand marketing and eCommerce verticals. Here, Arc differentiates itself from competitors by offering this headless CMS fully integrated with our easy-to-use headless commerce platform and our best-of-breed experiences engine. Taken together, we drastically reduce the integration overhead for customers and allow marketers and merchandisers to put content at the center of their brand stories and their marketing strategy.

As the Director of Product Management for Arc's Content offering, you will lead the vision for our headless CMS and its evolution that will power the growth of our business. You will recruit and develop world-class talent by coaching, managing and mentoring a team of product professionals. Working closely with Engineering, Design and Scrum, your team will guide both the product strategy and execution that will evolve Arc's Content products over time. You'll represent our product team to our highest-profile clients and their leadership teams, and ensure that Arc is delivering its promised value to our top customers. You have background in the media world as well as a strong perspective on enabling B2C commerce businesses' brand stories through content creation.

You are a seasoned product leader, with experience managing and growing teams of product managers. You understand the challenges inherent in leading product organizations especially in the enterprise SaaS domain specifically. You have real experience working with complex enterprise customers, brands and commerce companies; you understand their personas and challenges and feel comfortable talking directly to senior customer stakeholders to better understand their needs. You can operate independently, owning complex business problems from start to resolution, and know how to work across teams and influence peers and senior coworkers to achieve your team's objectives. You're comfortable working in a growing business where moving quickly and making decisions with incomplete information is the norm. When you encounter gaps in process you take the lead in defining a better path for the future. You're comfortable with and know when it's necessarily to roll up your sleeves and participate directly in the details of building Arc's amazing product suite.

The Director of Product Management will work closely with other parts of the product and design organization to develop a coherent, well-integrated suite with unique value in the market. You will work extensively with the VP of Engineering and the engineering team to ensure the vision for your products is realized, and that your team is primed for success. And you have access to some of the best Sales and Account Executives in the business, who will connect you directly with customers to ensure their input is driving the product forward. Being a part of the Product and Engineering leadership, you will drive development of the world's leading enterprise digital publishing suite.

  • Find opportunities for new products/features and validate assumptions through user testing and research.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to build a roadmap that helps Arc realize its go-to-market strategy.
