Capital One Card Technology is seeking an Executive Engineering Leader to join our Card Technology Leadership team. Specific candidate competencies include, but are not limited to:

- Experience managing technology at scale and through significant growth
- Entrepreneurial and startup-mentality, balanced with experience continually improving existing systems
- Ability to establish credibility with, as well as motivate and mentor, highly technical engineers
- Demonstrated ability to employ judgment and experience to make rapid and complex decisions
- Highly developed interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills (written and oral)
- A management style that is collaborative, energetic, results-oriented, and innovative
- Strong team builder and leader: well-honed recruiting and coaching skills with the ability and passion to create an inclusive environment
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering
- At least 7 years experience leading scaled technology organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience building in a cloud environment
- Experience leading in a modern, agile environment
