Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist for the Cancer Service Line, Non-Acute Services, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will:
• Performs day-to-day HR functions at a senior level to include but not limited to employee relations support, unemployment administration, benefits liaison, compensation analysis and review HR operational metrics tracking (i.e. worker's compensation, turnover), and ensures regulatory compliance for HR files during regulatory audits.
• Provide management coaching, training and development relative to talent, recruitment, and hiring practices.
• Coordinates new employee orientation and new hire onboarding processes as needed.
• Facilitates onboarding process as needed to include but not limited to E-Verify process, coordinates and facilitates Human Resources portion of new hire orientation
• Takes initiative to improve the service level by assessing processes and programs and working with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) to refine same.
• Assist the leadership team to develop and implement employee relations strategies that are consistent with organizations initiatives, comply with legal requirements, and promote positive employee engagement and employee relations.
• Leads employee relations investigations and obtaining the appropriate documentation
• Provide guidance and consults with management on effective documentation for performance improvement/disciplinary documents.
• Travel to various sites as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field required
• 5-10 years HR Generalist experience, specifically employee relations and recruitment
• PHR or SHRM-CP required
• Knowledge and understanding of HR practices and federal/state employment labor laws
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in using Windows Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience using an HRIS, preferably Workday and understanding of reports to filter information as appropriate using Excel.
