Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate installation and refurbishment activities.
- Inspect and determine need for repairs
- Supervise facilities staff and vendors/contractors
- Maintain comfortable environment for patients and staff in accordance with policies and procedures, ARHM, JCAHO, etc.
- Maintain facilities records
- Manage the safety program and serve as Safety Officer
- Educate hospital staff regarding safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in building maintenance in a healthcare/hospital setting
- 5+ years experience in Life Safety management
- Knowledge of joint commission standards
- Electrician, HVAC or plumbing certifications preferred
- CMS/work order/reporting experience a plus
